Great Skid Plate |

- Good install guide.
-The amount of torque to tighten the rivet nut could be in Nm (like we use in Europe)
- Skid Plate looks nice and solid and fits like a glove.
Cons: Maybe the plate could extend a bit further back for better protection of the transmission (like the original plastic plate does)

I love my 2002 GLX Passat and only buy the best - honestly. The product and mounting hardware arrived promptly, was well packaged and includes everything necessary - shy a ratchet set. It is a very well made product.
1. The provided online instructions are comprehensive and simple. Print them out and 'digest' them before the install and you shouldn't have any problems.
2. It looks sharp and fits like a glove - everything lined up PERFECTLY.
3. I used the spacers to address my transmission occasionally rubbing the plate as it was a 'too perfect' fit. With the spacers, no issues - I'm sure a smaller one, maybe even a single washer, would have done the trick.
No, I don't know these cats nor was there an incentive to write this - I was simply very impressed w/ the entire process and product that I thought I would take the time to say thanks for a job well done.
